  1. The name does not clearly relate to your business. For instance, if your Business Manager account is named “Anna’s Bakery” and your display name is “Tech Solutions,” this would likely be rejected, as there is no clear connection between the two.

  2. If you're working with a partner or system integrator, you cannot create a WhatsApp account or channel under their Business Manager. Each company must have its own Business Manager account, complete Business Verification, and invite the partner to integrate with their account.

  3. The name does not adhere to the display name guidelines.

  4. The name or business violates WhatsApp’s Commerce and Business policies.

How to Appeal a WhatsApp Business Display Name Rejection

First, ensure that your display name complies with WhatsApp’s Display Name Guidelines. Review the guidelines provided by Meta to verify this.

If your display name follows the guidelines, you can proceed with the following steps to appeal:

Access the WhatsApp Profile Settings

Navigate WhatsApp Settings. Locate your WhatsApp number in the list. Click on the Edit WhatsApp Profile link.

Contact Support

Within the WhatsApp Profile section, click on the Help button. Select Contact Support.

Fill Out the Support Form

You will be directed to a support form to appeal the display name rejection.
