It is commonly used for login processes, account verification, or securing transactions. BizMagnets allows businesses to send OTPs directly to users’ WhatsApp numbers, making the process both secure and convenient.
WhatsApp requires you to use approved message templates for transactional messages like OTPs. Navigate to Templates and create a new template by selecting the Category as Authentication (OTP). Read about how to create an Authentication Template
Next, go to WhatsApp OTP from the Settings in the left-side menu.
Click the "+" icon to create a new WhatsApp OTP. Enter a Name for the WhatsApp OTP. The OTP Range is a randomly generated 4-6 digit number. Set an expiration time for the OTP, typically 5-10 minutes, after which the OTP becomes invalid. Define the number of attempts allowed for the OTP to be validated.
Use the pre-approved template to send the OTP through BizMagnets, and then click Create.
