Learn how to add contacts to sequences, filter them based on specific criteria, and customize column preferences for a more streamlined experience. Proper contact management is crucial for maintaining high-quality interactions and improving customer relationships.
Adding contacts to a sequence enables automated follow-ups and efficient categorization. Ensure that you have created a sequence beforehand.
To add contacts to a sequence, follow these steps:
In the Contacts section, select the contacts you want to add to the sequence.
Select the option 'Trigger Sequence' at the top right corner. A pop-up will appear to select the Channel and the published sequence to enroll the contacts in.
Choose the Channel and the Sequence name from the dropdown. Click on 'Confirm'. The contacts will be added to sequence.
To filter your contacts, click the Filter icon button located on the left side of the screen. This will display the available filters. You can filter contacts based on the parameters used to collect their data. To do so, click 'Filter icon', enter the required details, and then click 'Apply'.
Here are some common conditions for filtering contacts:
This allows you to filter contacts based on tags that were assigned during customer data collection.
Use this filter to sort contacts by whether they have opted in or out of marketing communications.
This filter allows you to narrow down contacts based on their origin, such as how or where the contact was acquired.
Use this filter to sort contacts by the date they were created in your system, helping you focus on newer or older contacts as needed.
Contact filtering by channel allows to choose from the available channels.
Filtering by contact type categorizes them by their role or relationship with your business (e.g., lead, account).
You can easily search for contacts using keywords such as name, tags, or the initial digits of a contact number in the search bar within the Contacts section.
