This feature improves the customer journey and boosts conversions for businesses using the WhatsApp Business API. With Native Payment integration, businesses can easily send bills directly to clients within WhatsApp. This documentation will guide you through linking your payment account and using the available payment options for Indian businesses.
Currently, this feature is available for businesses and their customers in Singapore and India.
To link your WhatsApp UPI account to BizMagnets, navigate to Commerce and select the Payments option.
Under "Payment Configure," click on Connect for "WhatsApp Pay." A pop-up will appear for you to enter the necessary details.
Select the WhatsApp Channel (Indian phone number associated with BizMagnets), and update the payment provider and configuration name (as used in your META SUITE account).
Choose the Payment Provider (UPI VA ID, RazorPay, or PayU as configured in WhatsApp Business Manager) and enter the payment configuration name.
Click on Save to add another payment gateway, enabling you to receive payments via BizMagnets.
To start receiving payments on WhatsApp, businesses must add a payment configuration to their corresponding WhatsApp Business Account. This configuration links their payment gateway account to WhatsApp, with each configuration having a unique name.
Steps to Link Your Payment Account:
Navigate to the 'Direct pay methods' page under the 'India' section in WhatsApp Business Manager.
Fill in the required details on the 'Direct pay methods' page. This typically includes information about your payment gateway account.
After submitting the payment details, you will be redirected to the payment gateway's website.
On the payment gateway's website, enter your credentials (such as username and password) to authenticate your account. Follow the instructions provided by the payment gateway to complete the linking process.
Ensure that all information provided during the payment configuration setup is accurate and up-to-date.
The linking process may differ depending on the payment gateway you are using. Be sure to follow the specific instructions provided by your payment gateway provider.
Once the linking process is successfully completed, your payment gateway account will be connected to WhatsApp, enabling you to send bills directly to clients within the app.
