# Delay

Sometimes, you may want to wait more than a few seconds for the user's response before sending the next message. This is where the Delay Card in BizMagnets comes into play, allowing you to introduce delays of several minutes or even hours. Make sure your session TTL is longer than the delay time.

For example, if you have requested the user to share their feedback, it is recommended to use the Delay Card after the Send Card to maintain the conversation flow.

You can use the Delay Card according to the chat flow you are building.

{% hint style="info" %}
When using the Delay Card, ensure the session TTL is always longer than the time specified in the Delay Card.

For instance, if the session TTL is set to 10 minutes and the delay time is set to 20 minutes, the chat flow will follow the session TTL, causing the chat to drop after 10 minutes.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bizmagnets.ai/bot-flows/logic/delay.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
